Internet at last!
Ragazzi e Ragazze,
Well finally you're all able to read the last few days' blog entries. I have been without internet access for a few days. The little town we're in, San Giovanni Valdarno, is quite small. There is one internet café but we have been so busy I have not been able to go there yet. Or the supermarket (ironically named 'Co-op'). Or the cellphone store. But I'm working on it. I'm having a great time here and everyone is a lot of fun to hang out with. I haven't had a chance to write an entry for today but I don't have much time here so I'll type it at home and post it later. I'm in Florence and the train back to San Giovanni leaves in less than an hour. Apologies if the following entries are long-winded, but use the links on the right to find your place. Thanks for writing and keep checking back.

Brian-Dad & I are glad to see that all is well. We were a little concerned, but figured that internet access was limited as well as problems finding a ricca/ricca phone place. We thoroughly enjoyed reading about your adventures. Ironically, they are typical for a Brian Pennington saga! Your messages read very similar to Uncle Jerry's notes to Curly. I guess that you could be related....
Enjoy your travels and adventures. We will comment after your next entry
hey stinky... it's Eir-Anne. Sounds like you're having a really good time. (Drinking, chicks, french fries, etc.) I know molecule is watching the cats but I'm just getting ready to head over to your house to check on them. Have fun and keep writing in this! (You should get a copy of the new Safran Foer book to read in your spare time. Then I can borrow it!) See you soon, have fun, and don't get arrested! Those crazy foreigners will cane ya' if you're naughty!
Hi, Brian ~ I work with your Grandpa, Norm. I love to travel, too. Went on a 2 week trip to Italy back in 2000. 1 week in southern Italy, staying in Sorrento, and visiting Naples, Pompii, the Amalfi coast, Capri (had quite an adventure there). And 1 week in northern Italy, staying in Montecatini and seeing Florence, Lucca, Pisa. Didn't get to Assisi or Venice, both of which I'd like to have seen. I'll look forward to reading of your adventures in Brescia and seeing the pictures, too!
